Good Hair Cuts....Damn Hard to Find

We have all been there.....Go to the base barber looking for a decent buzz only to raped by those poor f@#%in excuses of barbers. So why not take a second to spread a little insight as to where the good barbers are.

Corpus: Zina's barber shop....when leaving base via the main gate it is on your left less than a mile. 6.50 a cut and excellent work. Although the place does look like a **** hole, but who freakin cares about that.

Man, I miss the barber from home in Milwaukee. Uses a straight razor and hot shaving cream around the sides and just does an outstanding job. Hoping to find an old style barber in RI while I'm there. If anyone knows of one over there let me know

Stallings on Creighton in Pcola was good hope you talk football rather than racism. I swear those guys have clan robes i the closet but they did a great job cutting hair

The Hangar in Corpus is great. About a mile outside the main gate. $9 for a haircut, straight razor around the edges, hot towel, neck massage.

Haircut and shave ?? Too bad you guys showed up late --- the Philippines invented the art of haircut and shave. The BOQ @ Cubi was where you could plan on an hour's trip into dreamland if you needed a trim -- shave (hot towels, lather), 1st class haircut, manicure (they insisted) and a neck-rub/massage that would put 'em to shame out in the 'Po ... and all for @ $1.50. Remember the tip ... You should have been there ... NAS CUBI closed @ 1991.

For those select few who get to fly out of Turner Field, "Yung's" in Quantico Town is second-to-none. Never a line, ALWAYS open (0500 on Mondays!), always a great cut, they use a razor, and you get the massage. (No, not the Happy Ending... )

I got my first TBS haircut there and when the cute girl who didnt speak english started in on the massage I was wonderin what came next, madew for an uncomfortable moment for me and my girlfriend at the time who was waiting for me. But yes great haircut good massage jsut like anywhere in the Pacific rim though I never got to experience Cubi

Yung's was awesome... but good lord did they beat you up for that massage. Felt good, but it was brutal. But they did always have problems with a low reg.... kept trying to give me some grunt haircut
