FY09 STA-21 Soup to selection and beyond MEGA thread

my soccer advice to you, if your ship's team is playing in the NOB MWR league, is to play very, very poorly. I can't have any competition out there with undefeated records like us :D nah- just have fun. and don't be afraid of the ball. or that really really big guy running at you. he'll move.

No worries, I highly doubt we'll be competitive, I'm actually pretty certain that they were lucky to have enough people show up tonight. yeah, we're at NOB ... so fun, eh? You can have fun playing soccer, I wasn't aware of that. I always liked sports that you weren't constantly running ... football, ice hockey, maybe the exception was basketball, but even then ...

Well... I just finished scanning everywhere I could possibly imagine for any new info..... and I have absolutley nothing to report back with. good luck, have fun. Catch you all later

Have any of this years applicants already completed the required physicals? If so do any of you know how to confirm through NOMI that the paper work has been recieved in Pensacola?

You going up for Aviation? I have not done my physicals, but just by reading through this thing, your best best if contacting the program through either email or the number on the website.

Yes, I am applying for Pilot/Core and have completed the physical. I am going to try and call NOMI's quarterdeck tomorrow and see what information I can get. However, it seems every time I call any medical facility in the Navy I always get the run around. I was just hoping someone had a direct line on speed dial or something.

yeah ... i'm trying to go work as a doctor in one of those Naval facilities ... I'm sure I'll be part of the problem though.

you best best to find info on your physical from NOMI is to contact a corpman in your command, I had my squadron corpman call and give me the status. He told me that he used to be stationed at NOMI and they only have like 20 ppl to go through ALL flight physicals, so it would be awhile.

I just logged into the STA-21 site and my status said selected for pilot. But I was selected during last years cycle. Just thought I would mess with you a little. Just calm down and try to forget about it. When I found out I was selected I actually forgot about results comming out and was surprised. I got a phone call saying I needed to come back to work and see the CO. I then put 2 and 2 together and checked message traffic on NPC and saw the results. So my suggestion is to check the NPC website, that is where you will probably find out results first. My command got it there instead of thru normal message traffic.

would you look at that.... the web page changed again today. No more red hot flashy message "NEW PROGRAM ANOU.... SUPPLY/MCO"

but still no update on people's profiles!
