Check it out -- Intuit is offering their tax preparation program and electronic filing for free for military members. In order to be eligible for this offer, one needs a 2003 Form W2 from the military. As an aside, there are also the tax centers on base to file your taxes. I've had mixed success with those - once I got help from a Chief going thru an MBA program which was great - he found me a couple deductions I'd overlooked. Another time I got a chucklehead on LIMDU looking for some award fodder. YMMV.
