Every Seal Ive met that actually is or was one, doesnt like talking about what they did. And is very limited talking about the community, kinda funny to find a forum full of wannabes and "ex-seals." Sounds like "Cop Talk" over at Glocktalk.

Not in yet...but still prayin'
If you read through it...it's almost solely wannabees and people who have just completed bud/s. From what I can tell...most of the SEALs that contribute are motivators/recruiters.

They still have some good info on the site, especially for those interested in SEAL training...it seems to focus on training advise and BUD/S stories, not on mission recounts.

Real SEALs don't talk it up because it's either OPSEC or just too horrible to tell a sea story about it...

I don't think the point of this forum is to tell war stories. Its content seems more alligned with helping wannabees out, and the application process, BUD/s, and post BUD/s.

Thats true about SEAL's not talking too much about what they did. I knew one in flight school and all I could get out of him is that he helped run the SEAL sniper school out west. Not much else. I also have a fraternity bro that was one for 4 years. He only talked to us once about being pinned down in a fire fight in afghanistan. I couldnt pry much else out of either of them except that BUDs sucks.

its acutally a VERY informative site for those in the application process...or even for those who are applying to any branch of the military and just want help on pt...stewsmith.com and getfitnow.com are also great sites...i've been around this site for a couple years and i would equate thesealquest.com to this site...obviously for aspiring seals, not aviators...
