My dad has an 2002 Explorer. The only problem I've ever had with it is that sometimes it'll take forever to get started.

I had one, it started having problems at 60k and died by 70...I ended up giving it to one of my cousins who had to rebuild the transmission and rear end to get it back on the road. I'd trade it in while it's running, it's worth not being stranded when it finally does die.

I know there was a recall on a few trannies for the wron fluid being put in. Also, with regards to the rearends, thats not my dads fault. Thats Vistons. They switched to a new face-hop cut gear which made them very weak and noisy.

Ditto Trailblazer. I rented one from Budget, drove over 4,000 miles in ten days. Vortec 5300 V8 engine. Impressive vehicle.

Or, you could just put a 10" lift kit and some 35" mudders on the Corvette . How b!tchin' would that be? :D

That is why I have a Corvette (for the summer) and an Avalanche (for the snow). Of course, this summer I'll probably be in the sandbox,:icon_rage after I finally got the 'Vette painted and a new top installed. ON the plus side though, with that money I save, I can get one of these:

Oh, and for the OP. I had a 2001 "Exploder". Transmission had to be replaced at about 75k miles.

So the question then becomes... as an O-1... do I save a measly few hundred a month with the hope of ever affording a vette with a 9g engine... or do I buy a few hundred dollars of lottery tickets a month hoping to get lucky?

Grand Cherokee 5.9L Hemi... I've got the 5.2 96 version sitting on 4.5" lift and 32" mud terrains. Love it.
