For you Flight Sim Geeks (warning 250KB pictures)

Navy Version...

screen_002.jpg

Alpha Simulation's version attached with modified cockpit panel by a guy named "JetJunkie"

EDIT: The flight model is ok, and not all the instruments that JetJunkie added in aren't yet fully functional.

You can find Alpha Simulation's version here - http://www.alphasim.co.uk but be warned that it doesn't look 100% like you see below. See their site for screen shots of their unmodified version.

Alpha Simulations has hinted they may provide a future update. Hopefully they'll take "JetJunkie's" modifications and implement them into their versions. I personally like the cockpit/panel much better than the Navy versions.

Landing gear indicators? :p

That's ok, the landing lights are mid-wing.. That, and TACAN and fuel gauges aren't currently functioning. Should be soon.

Anybody use X-Plane? I have it and find it to be pretty nice, especially when designing aircraft. Yes, I'm a geek. At the same time I don't care what y'all think. I'd love to see the full cadre of training aircraft on it but so far I haven't seen any. They do have the typical fleet aircraft though.

Also, has anyone used Flight Deck III? Apparently they have *realistic arresting cables. If someone could verify that, it'd be great.

also, autoignition switch is on with no autoignition light and no landing lights beneath the gear handle... very cool cockpit, though.

I have x-plane for my imac and I found it a little difficult to use at first. I tried to build a t-34 but then that got quickly frustrating and I just downloaded a katana and flew that around Corpus :) I haven't flown it in a while, though.

I just bought their product a few minutes ago and was let down on the clarity of the panel. If you could send me your panel update that would be awesome!!

How accurate is flying the T-34 in the game compared to actually flying it???? CURIOUS here!

So at some point, the T-34 in the game will be a somewhat accurate representation of the actual trainer?

It seems to me that if it eventually is an accurate replica, it would be a helluva way to practice for flights in primary. Anyone else have opinions on this?
