I just wanted to say that I went to see a pulmonologist today, took bronchiodialator and methacholine challenge tests, and he asserted quite clearly that I do not and never did have asthma!

In any case, I am feeling just dandy with myself and wanted to share it with the whole world, being that I can now pursue the dream without waivers in the way!

I can't really say that I care, but I have to give you the award for the sentence with the most unrecognizable words ever.

Just joking-congrats and good luck.

good job eddie. i went through the same process of trying to get a waiver. i used an inhaler for a week when i was 10 for bronchitis. the navy said npq so i took all those same tests and got the same results and eventually, the waiver. when i got to nomi during ocs, the flight doc looked at the waiver, the tests, then at me and said, "you have a waiver for asthma, but you dont have asthma." i told him that i knew that but the navy said i needed one to get in. in the end, he thought it was ridiculous for the navy to make me get a waiver for something i didnt have. he did some paperwork and now the waiver is no longer in my record.

keep working for the waiver and get commissioned.
