Well, not anymore... :(
This is not a joke. Be sure to listen to the samples. Nothing like hearing Wherever I May Roam plucked out on the banjo and mandolin.

If by "good" you mean "somebody-please -stab-me-in-the-ears-with-an-ice-pick-good."beau said:It might be as bad as this: http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2681276?htv=12
it is so bad its good!
Yeah, I've heard them before. They're, um, interesting. But then again, I wasn't a huge fan of Metallica--S&M either. I guess you can say I'm a purist. I've been a fan since Kill 'em All and Cliff Burton. I even own a copy of a rare demo tape with Dave Mustaine on guitar.Check out Apocalyptica (limewire etc). They're a string quartet that does a pretty impressive job of covering Metallica.

Yes, Jason is gone. They didn't get rid of him, rather he left on his own.I have the Apocalyptica CD, they're pretty good. Did they get rid of Jason Newstead? I saw an album with someone else listed as bass the other day and was surprised.
Jason Newstead said:"Due to private and personal reasons, and the physical damage that I have done to myself over the years while playing the music that I love, I must step away from the band. This is the most difficult decision of my life, made in the best interest of my family, myself, and the continued growth of Metallica. I extend my love, thanks, and best wishes to my brothers: James, Lars, and Kirk and the rest of the Metallica family, friends, and fans whom have made these years so unforgettable."
