Follow On Orders are a must for Whiting

Just went by Student Control today with my upchit and learned that
Whiting is swamped and unless you have follow on orders, you will be going to Vance or Corpus. I am married without follow on orders (Personel in Annapolis screwed me) and was just assigned to Vance starting this Friday. Just figured I would let everyone know.

Not true, nothing is ever certain. I was told the same thing when I showed up, I'm going to whiting for primary now (no follow on orders) and so are a few other people in my api class. In fact some people set up for corpus were switched to whiting. So don't always believe what they say.
