Flying commercially in Europe

bigmouth

You know I don't speak Spanish!
I'm getting out of the Navy soon and am interested in flying commercially in Europe. Any insight into how to go about converting my ratings etc?
British Airways/Virgin Atlantic the way to go?

I have approximately 1500 TT, 500 ME PIC.

Any insight into European aviation would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I looked and couldn't find anything.

You need to obtain the right ro work in the EU - hard to do unless you are sponsored.

License conversion - something like 12 written test and a flight check. Not easy to do. There used to be a flight school in Naples, Florida that offered the JAA licenses.

I'm eligible for British citizenship, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Do you know where to find info on these 12 test?

Thanks for the quick reply

Dude, barking up the wrong tree, like the last guy on this subject... (Whom was putting the cart way before the horse in his case.)

Everybody here that has gone the airline route works/worked for a US carrier!

Try Airlinepilotcentral.com or jetcareers.com but nothing to be found here.. As the police always say "Nothing to be seen here; move along, move along..."

Also your numbers seem a little low for an FRS IP about to get out?
