Absolutely, it's very good as a drama. But if you go thinking it'll be a great movie about flight, you'll be left wanting. I thought the first scene was more like a comedy.

In all seriousness, the event was meant to be similar to Alaska Airlines Flight 261, which suffered a failure of the jackscrew assembly on the horizontal stabilizer due to poor maintenance leading to excessive wear and tear. Overall it was a great movie, I thought, but the title is more a metaphor of the bigger story of addiction and facing your demons.
