Flight Physical Blood Sugar Confusion

I found my way here after digging into this as much as I could on searches and really could use some insight on what could be going on.

I meet with the Army Flight Surgeon on the 26th for my part 2 of my flight physical. I was accepted to OCS a few months back and scheduled for my flight physical last month. I was told yesterday that when I come in to meet with the FS that I need to stop by and redo my blood work. In probing why they stated my fasting blood sugar level was a tad too high. This of course took me by surprise as of all the things I was worried about this wasn't one of them. Yesterday I purchased one of those at home kits to test your own levels and had my wife who is a PA to check my results throughout the day. Below are my results:

Lunch around 11:00 (sandwich)

Ate an entire 1/2 of pineapple at 15:50 (Got the call about retest at 16:00) ... of all the things to have just eaten right?

Obtained the test kit and did my test at 1830.. result was 72 mg/dl

Dinner at 2000- Spicy meal and decided to finish the last 1/3 of my wifes popcorn (which had plenty of salt just to see how bad off I'd be)...

Final test for the day 2300- 100 mg/dl

Went to sleep go up

0800- Test again this morning results is 102 mg /dl

So now I am completely confused as to whats going on... So if I go longer than 8 hours (12 hours in the case of the flight physical) for my blood work I go up on my blood sugar but have acceptable levels throughout the day?

What does this mean, could I be looking at an end to aviation ambitions here?
