I like the theory of 3 guy but the thing that keeps me from going are the retards that do it. Seriously if I meet one more fat ass wearing 3 grand worth of leather telling me about how his Les Baer is the greatest tactical pistol ever made Ill stab somebody. Its like you somehow managed to find every asshat on AR15.com in one place at one time. And dont tell them your military... oh hell no. Then your gonna hear all about somebodys exploits when they did something somewhere with somebody but really cant talk about it.

Just to piss people off a buddy of mine shot a 3 gun match using Ak's, a Mossburg 500, and a Makarov..... Wearing a ski mask. This is the same friend of mine who was kicked out of a prarie dog round up for using a bipod mounted FAL rapid fire.

I agree completely. The guys I shoot with are a bunch of good old boys from the mountains of NC. Don't get me wrong there are some nice weapons there and they can damn sure shoot but function, not fashion, is the order of the day. Every time I've been I've shot a light weight 16' AR15 A2 with irons, a basic 870 and a Glock 19. Rifle mags go in my back pockets, pistol mags and shotgun shells go in a man purse I throw over my sholder. With our group you would feel very much at home shooting a Yugo AK, a Mossey and a Makarov.

I'm gonna take my Saiga the next time I go. The irony is that the "big boys" have gotten burned enough by Saigas that now if you bring one they make you shoot in the unlimited class. "Lightning fast" 10 round mag changes and an ultra reliable AK action is almost impossible to beat.

Its no different than the asshats I run into at the range that find it their purpose in life to come tell me how my Rockriver AR is infearior to every AK on the market. The next rifle I buy is going to be the biggest most jacked up piece of crap AK I can find. I want one that jams every 6th round in a way that can only be cleared with an E-tool and cursing god. That way I can be like "You know what Ive got an AK buddy.... you wanna shoot it." And when it dicks up on them I can be like "Way to go cock-fag if this were a real under fire situation you'd already be dead."

I'm a self-admitted gun snob... I have a couple Sigs and a really nice Rock River AR... and a POS Romanian AK-47.

The AK is probably the most fun to shoot and it freaks people out at the range. I love the fact that it cost $300; I can leave it out in the yard for storage: and it doesn't need cleaned.

I love my Romanian AKs too. I paid just under $300 ea for mine and at least for today I could sell them for $600 each. Crazy but true. I keep one of them in a dusty corner of the garage. (my Rock River goes in the safe)

Good idea. To spice things up a little just pull the bullet from a round, dump the powder, re-seat the bullet and stick the round back in a mag. Primer and no powder equal obstructed barrel and KABOOM on next trigger pull. :D

good call. I normally have my badge on my badge near my holster... I always try to cover it up, sometimes my shirt comes up a bit. Between that and shooting +P duty ammo I always have some joker coming over trying to act cool.
