Any F-35 pilots here? If so, how is it to fly and do the mission sets with? (keep in unclassified obviously)
Fascinating video and discussion about the evolution of the control laws for the current day B model.
It seems the Brits had far better ideas than the traditionally minded, Harrier centric folks at NAVAIR.
In essence, the control laws evolved to abandon any corollary to a helicopter and instead centered around the same control inputs. One would use in close formation flight, regardless of whether you were in forward flight or a hover or transition.
Fascinating stuff.
