F-18 Faze out date?

Does anyone know when the predicted date for the military to start fazing out the F-18, or is this date played by ear?

Sorry Rocky3168, as I am not yet an aviator I don't know that correct terminology. I just don't want them to be gone before I get a chance to fly one.

There's nothing aviation specific about the word phase. Try opening a dictionary if you don't know how to say something.

I think what you can take away from this post is that there probably isn't an exact date on the "Phase out.";)

We all know GA is a bit slow when it comes to the edumacation.
