ESPQ - Passport question

I've sent in my ESPQ with the rest of my findocs a few days ago. Now it appears that I'll be getting a passport. I don't plan on leaving the country, but I have to get one anyway. Do I need to call my NRD and give them a headups, should I just wait for the DSS people to show up or does it even matter?

Was the passport an issue on the EPSQ? I don't remember. Did they just ask for your passport number? I'd just call your recruiter and let him know once you get it.

It's not like having a passport will affect your clearance at all, so you don't need worry about that part of it.
