Drunk man takes plane for joyride

Pretty impressive. I've seen another iteration of that at a small barn-stormer airshow in Maryland when I was growing up. Amazing he can do that and not get a prop-strike...at least to me.
 
Completely agree Gator... Switching wheels on the landings was very impressive, that takes some good balance I can assume. To much rudder for my liking though :)
 
That's Kyle Franklin, son of the late, great Jimmy Franklin. Jimmy was the guy in the J-85 Jet-Powered Waco. If you saw it, you'd never forget it. And Kyle was the teenage kid back in the 90's that was his wingwalker.
In that video, the guy he steals the airplane from is Matt Younkin... and you should see him fly too. A great routine in a number of aircraft, including a Beech 18 that pumps out more smoke than you've ever seen.
And it's funny that Jimmy is married to Matt's sister,... and she is the gal that does Kyle's wingwalking now.
And she's probably the prettiest gal you'll ever see at an airshow.
Pretty neat group of folks.

+1, I had one that looked almost like that in my dad's bonanza this afternoon.......I tried to pawn it off as not having flared a landing for almost a year, but he still gave me crap. Cool video though, it is an entertaining act
 
Great video. My father-in-law (King of the Email FWD) has sent it to us twice already, and yet the act remains entertaining. :)

They are friggin' sick pilots/entertainers.

Talk about knowing your aircraft...
 
Some damn good skill demonstrated there... not to mention the balls it took to ever attempt some of those manouvers for the first time.
