It does not seem as if the skipper was fired for this as would be expected here in America.

I wonder how the charge sheet reads.
 
Why would the Skipper be fired? In the US, it would be a UCMJ Art 15 (Captain's Mast/Office Hours/etc.) or worse Courts-Martial but not worthy of Firing the Skipper?

Oh, the way command pins have been rescinded lately due to "loss of confidence", I have no doubt that if this happened here, the CO would be polishing his civvie street resume.

Look at the recent love tetrahedron on that boat where supposedly the Chiefs' mess was involved. That CO's out. And after he masted those sailors, no less.

Reads more like equal opportunity/command climate.
 
So some dudes on a ship were trying to see who could screw the most of the limited number of women on the same ship? Why didn't they just all screw each other? Same endstate.
