not that a tailstrike is at all amusing but what i found to be slightly amusing and very misplaced is the terrible elevator music accompaning it.

Yikes! Yeah...flared landings aren't going to help when your sinking as fast as he was. To my inexperienced eye that seemed like some excessive sink. Any idea why he was coming in so steep? Is this a flight test video?

Looks like he was making a boat approach and then changed his mind at the numbers...

I guess that's why we harp on stabilized approaches. The old "no approach is so bad it can't be salvaged" adage may not get you to retirement. I'm sure this crew had to do an industrial strength carpet dance.
