Can Army pilots fly with the Marines on exchange programes. I am mostly refering to Warrent officers. If yes what aircraft do they fly, UH-1, AH-1,CH-53 or CH-46. I am thinking of going Army warrent to fly and was just wondering if this was a option.

The Army doesn't send warrant officers to fly with the Marine Corps. To my knowledge they never send anyone on an "exchange" tour to fly with us. Something about Marines being "icky" and having "cooties."

There is one Army warrant officer at MAWTS right now flying Snakes, 160th guy that is about all I know of exchanges either way. We have more Brits than Army guy running around but that is ok the Brits are cooler

I stand corrected by the Honorable Mr. Dukakis. Then again, one guy out of how many?

Can someone please tell me what this bizzare preoccupation many of the wanna-bes have with trying to mix and match services, active duty with reserves, change aircraft mid tour, etc? WTF is up with that? "So, OK, if I wanna start out as a Marine FAC, then after a year go do a tour in the Coast Guard auxilliary flying 60s, but then change to a TAR and fly Prowlers for a while, blah, blah, blah."

For the love of God - STOP IT ALREADY!

Too much TV ... ???

Nothing wrong with that.
I want to fly the F-18 until the F-35 comes out, fly that until I'm bored, then txfer to the airforce and fly the F-22 cuz it's cool. After that I'll switch to KC-10's to build heavy time and retire after I get hired by United. Oh, but then I want to switch to the airforce reserves so I can fly F-15's on the weekend in between my daily UAL hops.[/sarcasm]

Why don't you try transferring from the -18 RAG to the -53D RAG, then going TPS, then NASA, then DI school, and finally transferring to UAVs before you become a JAG and go work for the FBI, then apply to the Academy?
