Making Recruiting Great Again
Picking up chicks and getting laid are the same as if you are in the Navy or a civilian.
No one ever said a girlfriend is a bad thing (although some might say one-nighters are a better thing). They are just saying there are many additional factors to consider prior to getting married that a civilian does not need to worry about. Experience has shown that there is a higher divorce rate for Navy couples than civilians. If your relationship survives your first deployment, that is an indicator it has a chance to survive the Navy. Don't rush into marriage as you start your Navy career, wait until after you're through flight school and have completed a deployment.
Getting laid is a different matter. Don't confuse getting laid with relationships or marriage. They can (and should) be mutually exclusive.
My old man always tells me don't marry someone until you've been through at least one deployment. Women can change a lot when you're underway for a long period of time.
