I got a reserve ground contract scholarship as a marine op mid but I want to submit for an air contract active or reserve, I talked with my AMOI's and MOI they said they don't think that reserve air contracts exist, but after thinking I don't see why they would because of 4th MAW, can someone help with my issue?

Do Marine Air reserve contracts exist?

Not a Marine, but 95% sure a reserve aviation contract doesn’t exist. Unlike the Air Force Reserve, the Navy and Marine reserve aviation communities source their aviators solely from former active duty aviators. There’s no way to directly go into flying for the reserves.
