Interesting article about this guy in the local paper. He's suffering with Lou Gehrigs Disease.

Did any of you fleet folks work for this guy, or know him?

They got the location wrong for the Reconaissance squadron, it was Rota and not Italy, if they are talkign about VQ-2. I will ask a few guys to see if they know him.
 
CAPT Eddowes was a Naval Flight Officer whom I think did his JO tour in Whales. I know he was a DH in VQ-5 (ES-3A), and was XO of VS-41 1997-1998 time frame. He screened for command of an EP-3 squadron, but I don't know where he was assigned. Great guy, my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
