DLA from move to Primary

Hey guys....does anyone know if you get DLA for the move from PNS to Corpus?

Depends, how long were you in PCola for? If you were there long enough to make them permanent orders, then yes. If you weren't there long enough, and have temp orders you will get per diem, which ends up being about the same anyway. So yes you can expect somewhere around 1-1.5K comming at you. When I got to corpus I had permanent orders and got DLA, and the other Studs had temp and we all got about the same amount.

They said the magic number was 140 days, in terms of whether you rated DLA coming here. That said, I got it anyways (was in P'cola for less than 9 weeks), and I still haven't had any pay docked so who knows....

I got it, but I was also a prior.

I didn't get DLA. I got perdiem. I'm pretty sure the total came out to something over $3k. It was very nice.

I will second that. If only he was on AW then he could answer all these PSD questions. It was so nice to talk to someone who knew what he was talking about.
