I have the JOY of wearing khakis everyday I'm not flying (until those greens come...hells yeah). I am in the process of running my maid through PQS on how to properly iron/care for uniforms (she's already burned a nice iron imprint into one of my khaki shirts, lovely). Lots of fun for everyone.

I dont need a maid to ruin my uniforms. Back in API when I needed to do some quick touch up, I melted a nice whole in a khaki shirt. Luckily it was below the beltline.

Agreed ... and the 3rd World usually does rule. When I was a LT in and around the P.I. @ 1971-75 .... on my pay then (a fraction of what an O-3 makes now) , I would have had a walled villa in town , guard(s), gardener(s), maid(s), lumpia in the deep fry and cold San Miguel in the refer --- life was/still is good in the 3rd World for the Ugly American.
