Diehard! (some Spoiler)

I had the opportunity to watch 2 awesome (did I just say that?) movies this week: on the 3rd--TRANSFORMERS! .. (Had to throw that out there for anyone skipping Fly's thread) and on the 5th-- DIEHARD! Oh man, I enjoyed the first couple of Diehards, but this newest one is just as good if not better! Action packed, the JSF scene is a bit far-fetched but probably not to the average viewer (although it was still entertaining) and ole' Bruce has still got a knack for the one-liners! And yes, his famous phrase makes an appearance in this movie too!

I was a little hesitant with Stallone's recent old man, come-back flop with Rocky Balboa but this one was definitely good!

I liked Rocky Balboa. Good flick. You have to watch the first Rocky before seeing Rocky Balboa... it definitely helps with the perspective.

But yes, Die Hard was pretty good but i think the bar was set really high from Transformers, so i dont think i appreciated it as much as i should have. More than just the f-35 section was far fetched with lots of fun little holes in the plot. I liked how it brought to the national conscience how vulnerable we are to cyber attack. I know we got tons of computer geeks desperately trying to prevent it. All in all, an entertaining movie with some good stuff blowing up.

I agree, Die Hard was amazing. As for the F-35 and other "far-fetched" scenes...it's a MOVIE! I also saw Shooter for the first time this weekend (now on video), another in the string of outstanding action movies Hollywood has been turning out lately (DH, Transformers, The 300, etc).

Shooter was definitely a great movie..saw it in theaters awhile back.

Anyways..about Die Hard, I really wish they would've stuck with the 'R' rating as they did with the previous 3...I can't really see a Die Hard movie ever being PG-13, which undoubtedly filters out most of the signature-to-series excessive foul language and violence that we have all come to love so much..

Also...anyone have any idea as to when '300' comes out on DVD?
It's been forever since it first hit the theaters..

My friend got it in Mexico for $10 2 months ago, high qual DVD, but the spanish subtitles won't go away....

I got a friend that can send you a copy... It's seriously the best boot leg I've ever seen. Theres only one scene that I could tell...

I got a bootleg out of S. America...but it is called "178.55" there...you know, 'cuz of the exchange rate.
