Cross Country Destinations?

Vegas from San Diego (Montgomery Field)... 1 Cessna 172, 2 girls, 1 case of beer (not in-flight), a suite at the Venetian = good to go.

Austin, TX - Awesome party town. Great bars, great restaurants, great history (the Capitol building is really cool), and HOT CHICKS EVERYWHERE.

San Antonio, TX - The River Walk is awesome. All sorts of bars and restaurants along the river in a nice scenic walkway. Lots of fun.

Louisville, KY - Went during the Kentucky Derby. Best cross-country so far. Awesome people, very scenic city, and the girls are out of this world. Very very fun place.

I'll echo Fly with Austin. It's far enough away from the Air Force (San Antonio area) and plenty of college girls. Plus if you can get out to Lake Travis, I reccommend Carlos & Charlies.

You'll go on a cross country for helos or P-3s (not sure about E-6s, but they seem to be always going on the road). Jets or E2/C2 don't go until intermediates/advanced. Unless this has changed....

Well, there is no more intermediate for jets... it's just TS....so....

Your first TS cross country can occur in the RI stage

Maybe out of their minds, but that's about it. It's usually a toss up as to whether they've lost their teeth to their redneck frivolities or from too much dip. But I guess there's something to be said for ladies (snicker) with no teeth, right?
