Kid I knew growing up is a LCpl in the same company. They're having a rough time recently, another one of their Marines lost his legs a couple weeks ago.

I hate to hear units getting hit hard back to back, bad enough the inevitable happens. I've been there myself and it seems like when it rains it just pours on deployment. Things are so tough down there in RC South these days. My hats off to all of the Marines slugging it out in those provinces. RIP to this young man, hope the rest of unit keeps their heads up. Thanks for the update on his unit.
