If it is your anniversary month, I would send it in to the IRR Counselor.
Thanks. I tried that but the u ask NPC said that PERS 912 was not taking calls and u ask NPC filled out a trouble ticket and said that PERS 912 would get back with me. Well, that was about 3 weeks ago and I did not hear from PERS 912. I reached out to the IRR Counselor by email and phone. They were able to verify my point capture for my anniversary year which ended in January. From what they said, I received a qualifying year last year and 15 GRAT points. I am taking that as confirmation I am still in the IRR-ASP, but I would really like to have a hard copy of my Statement of Service. I am going to wait until April or May to try again to get a hard copy of my Statement of Service.
How did they know that you were not in a NEPLO billet? I submitted several FEMA courses prior to 31 JAN 18 and they were approved. I'm a 5105, but I don't know if that means anything. I haven't submitted much since 31 JAN 18, because my anniversary year ended on 25 JAN 18.Data point: submitted a FEMA course via email and had it rejected due to not being in a NEPLO billet and the course “being completed after 31 Jan 18 when the designator/billet restrictions went into effect.”

Thanks for the response. It makes sense that being in the IRR you wouldn't have a NEPLO Billet, especially with the policy change and timeline. I may try to submit a FEMA course and see what happens. Thanks.I assume it was because they know I’m in the IRR and not assigned to a billet. From the email response I got from PERS-93, these courses are not authorized for retirement credit after 31 Jan 18 unless in a NEPLO billet.
That is welcome news, particularly in light of the pending NRTC change. How long ago did you complete Marine net courses? Any issues getting credit for the points? Given the continual tightening of the belt, your information is appreciated. If anyone out there thinks Marinenet is only for Marines or requires a proctor for all courses...not true. It's open, NON-CAC, and only certain courses require a Proctor. There are some "Whale" courses available too. The foreign language courses are high point values, do not require a proctor, but do require effort...you actually have to learn the material. The material is not overly difficult. No Charity here, but if you're up to the challenge the point values are commensurate.

Excellent advice. I'll do it. I have done NWC JPME and plenty of NRTC. Two good years to go as the options narrow. Many thanks again.I just registered and started Spanish...very doable. If the courses are on the approved list, they should be approved without trouble. I also advise getting your JKO (Joint Knowledge Online) account going. It's a great resource for courses and points. When I signed up for an account, you needed a sponsor for your account, which at that time was simply someone with a .mil or .gov email address.
