Cool Stuff in Pensacola.

Other than the base and the Naval Aviation Museum itself, stay away from the part of town that Pensacola NAS is in. It's a dump. Go either downtown or to the beach for chow and hanging out.

I know that a lot of bases have some sort of guided or non-guided tours. You may want to consider calling the main number for Pensacola NAS and seeing if there is such a thing there.
 
Is my computer screwed up or is there something wrong with the Pensacola NAS homepage? I've been trying to access it for 2 days with no success. Any of you guys know if they offer tours, or the email address/phone# for that kind of stuff.

Finally got their email, they said they dont offer tours :(, but the lady mentioned a fort that was by the base that might be cool to go to.

Places to eat is a highlight of P-cola ... I would suggest Hip Pocket Deli (just outside the front gate of NAS P-cola) the Gyros are awesome and it is a favorite spot for the local aviation crowd ...
