I have been out for 15 years but find myself back in the navy in the reserves. I am a GSEFN now with a masters degree. Professionally I am a maintenance materials manager. My officer recruiter and i have tried to apply for SUPPO twice and I have not been selected. He recommended AMDO and recommended either reserve or active. My question is what's it like being an AMDO in the active Navy? What is the sea shore rotation? How likely am I to be stationed on a ship again? Any info would be greatly appreciated. thank you
