I have an old computer from when I was in college and I was thinking of lugging it down to API/Primary with me and I was wondering if I should even bother. Is there a computer lab that is easily accessible or is it like college. There is a computer lab but you can never get anything done. Let me know. Also, I am thinking about getting a new laptop. Can anyone suggest a good model for around 1200 bucks?

If I remember correctly the base library (across from the academic building) had some computers to use for free but I'm not sure what the hours are. Also, Duck's (right across from the McDonald's on the sea wall by OCS) had some computers but you had to pay to use them. This info is from 3 years ago so things are probably different now.

library still has the comps, not always easy to get on one though. Ducks is closed down.
I would reccommend bringing your own if you use a computer frequently. Also if you are living in the Q, Cable modems are now available.
