Competitive OCS application

I was curious what are the specific components of a successful OCS application? I have read opnav 1420.1b and am familiar with the requirements for application. Furthermore what is the hierarchy of components, ie. education, military experience, flight time, letters of rec... Any insight would be appreciated.

Go to the August 2011 Board thread and look at the stats on the people who were pro rec'd...make your package look like theirs.

if you are a prior enlisted I can give you great advice. If you are a civie than I cannot help you. I had three years enlisted to go in as a guy with a 2.89 gps with no sports, clubs or volunteer work, but what i did to get my pro-rec came from what i achieved from my time in the navy.
