They ought to call it that long sought-after holy grail, inter-service "interoperability" and just move on.Wow, Army SF, Navy EOD, two Marines and one Airman. Is it just me or has this year been especially beneficial to the military's image?
I wonder who is the jackass who tried to stiff their hooker out of money/ wouldn't give into blackmail and brought the house of cards down. Gotta watch out for those honey traps...
This is PC at it's absolute best.....so fucking what if they paid and got laid. It's only a scandal because they're making it a scandal.
I was thinking the exact same thing when I was listening to them go on and on about this on the radio today. I think it will blow over for the military side pretty quickly, because deep down, everybody knows it's common. It will go on longer for the Secret Service, because there's some perception that those guys need to be a moral cut above. If that perception doesn't exist, it will be invented.
HAL, everything you disagree with is some kind of affront by an amorphous "PC" conspiracy. Prostitution (with a couple of exceptions) is illegal in the US and has never been socially acceptable. You can't have representatives of the USG travel abroad on official business engaging in this type of behavior and just waive it away like nothing happened. I'm not morally opposed to prostitution, but the American public surly is. Our government officials should behave accordingly. This is PC at it's absolute best.....so fucking what if they paid and got laid. It's only a scandal because they're making it a scandal.
