I'm guessing this was Squeeze's "stock fix" some time ago ... well done, Squeeze.![]()
). Sorry about that Squeeze. But no, I didn't copy him, this is the method the armorer had me use, and it worked great. I'll try to put up some pictures once I can figure out this Imageshack thing.
It's a GREAT program ... it's too bad that bad politics interferes with what is REALLY available, and I'm not talkin' any full-auto stuff. I've got some very collectible pieces, mostly from the early lotteries @ 10 years ago. One rifle is now worth @ $4000-$5000 ....
There is still much stuff available. But politics and politicians interfere, once again. And again. And again. Crime fighting, right ???
The stocks will probably be destroyed some day. Just consider the M1 Carbines alone ....pure treasure, there ...
not all are incapable of full autoNot to mention all the M-14's which have been rendered incapable of Full Auto fire
Where did I say anything about selling the ones that are?not all are incapable of full auto
An M-14 by definition is full auto, making it unsellable. Just as you're never gonna see stock piled M-16's sold to the public. The M-1A is the semi-automatic version of the M-14, just as the AR-15 is with the M-16.
Where did I say you did say that?Where did I say anything about selling the ones that are?
Ok to clarify, Im talking about all those USGI Forged reciever M-14's that even after being disabled were ruled to be illegal by the ATF. Basically making a whole mountian of operable weapons useless.
Right, I hear you and I weep for the same reason. However I understand why it is. Those USGI forged M-14's have a FA/SA selector switch built in to them. There is no switch on the M-1A. Unlike the AR/M-16's, the M-14 has a seperate selector from the safety. So for the M-14 the reciever itself makes the firearm illegal to sell.
