Am I the only one thinking how in the world two F-14's could have "collided" and made it back perfectly safe to the carrier? Landing and all... maybe "collided" isn't the right use of word for this incident. I'm certainly glad everyone is ok.

Two 18's did this a couple months ago took the nose off one and the right vertical stab about half way off the other. If they didnt collide, the what do you call it a love tap? Does matter if you hit an inch or the whole thing a mid-air is a COLLISION, but its good to know everyone was ok.

I bet those pilots pissed their pants and I bet there will be a something in a new approach magazine
