Classy Hotel Joint

If that . . . my room got trashed courtesy of the hailstorm and they didn't have anywhere else to put me until I moved. Lived in mold for 3 weeks before moving out and my room was marked uninhabitable when I left. Methinks it'll be awhile before there's room in the Whiting Q . . .
 
Side note: O-1s, don't blow all that fat cash (sarcasm) trying to impress. I spent most of my first year as an O-2 paying off credit card bills staying in "classy joints", eating in "swank restaurants", and drinking "high end booze".

La Quinta (which is spanish for "next to the IHOP") and light beer should be good enough for any woman.

My new rule is, any girl that won't eat wings and doesn't like beer isn't worth it.

Oh yeah, ALWAYS check for a military discount.
 
Better yet, find a woman who makes more than you do. That way, she can pay for YOUR beer and her gucci crap. And foolish manly pride be damned! Ain't nothing sweeter than a sugar momma.
 
Sugar momma indeed. Shes in healthcare consulting so this is one of the few times i get out my wallet. And i have no problem with her being the breadwinner. The fact that I get paid at all for flying is just a bonus. I'd have no problem doing this for free.

Interesting remark gaijin :). I make more than my SO but there's no way in hell I'm gonna spend my hard earned money on "gucci crap". I'll buy him beer when he beats me at pool. :D Good luck finding a woman who's willing to be that sugar momma!

Guess I didn't! ;) But hey, we should be entitled to call our loved ones as we wish, right? What if SO stood for Studly One? I don't think there would be too many guys that would object to that name. Ha ha!

The Territory is great --- lived there ... been there off and on since the '50's ... it was better then --- it's still great. I am thinking about becoming a Moke in retirement ....

Yeah, well, you don't know my girlfriend, that's for sure... Other than her obsession with coach bags and tiny little rat dogs, though, she's great! Well, okay, I have to admit that her newest little ra--er, DOG is kind of growing on me. Fearless little thing that one.

Okay, enough threadjacking for me! Back to packing my sh!t up for my move back to helo country...
