Speaking of fire bombers, how about the Martin Mars?

A photo of the Martin-Mars water dropper from Canada. 7,400 gallons of water with each drop, if foam is added then it can cover 4 acres of ground with 4 inches of foam in one drop.

I've always wanted to fly a seaplane...maybe live like Jimmy Buffett did with his Catalina, until he sank it, that is.
 
When I see that CDF Cobra, all I can think is "Only you can prevent forest fires...I mean it dammit." [fingers on Master Arm switch]
