Just got this in the email this morning, OMG!! Definitely teaches you that there are OTHER hazards out there, other than moving props or jet intakes/exhaust! I can just picture the lineman's expression when I signal to pull chocks, the lineman would probably tell you where to put it!

quote:How would you like to be the guy to pull chocks on this aircraft?

A rather large rattlesnakesnake found a nice, cool place to rest at Edwards
AFB between the chocked main tires of a parked aircraft.

Just another example of how a simple, routine task (pulling aircraft chocks)
may turn out to be a life threatening safety hazard.

AWWWWWW! What a nice and environmentally conscience coastie he is! Dragging the snake to safety and returning it to the wild instead of killing it on the spot with something eight feet long and sharp. Someone's obviously seen too much "Crocodile hunter" and has never seen a real poisonous snakebite up close.

Frumby...what do you do down in Texas when these lovely critters turn up.

If you thinks this is bad luck; in "Feet Wet" Gillchrist has one of these show up in a fighter cockpit, after he took off!

Aw now come on Dave,
What the hell do you think a Marine in Texas would do with a rattlesnake: BBQ!
