Hello All. I have just joined this forum. I am 29 yrs old and working in a IT company. I am a military aviation enthusiast and want to give up my present job and take it as my profession. Due to my age I can not join any of the military service of my country. Suggest me something on what Kind of profession I can have with the knowledge I have on MA.

There are many many jobs in the aviation community, in India, or elsewhere. Your biggest hurdle is knowing English, for international work, so you're good there.

You have to be more specific if you're looking for career advice. All I know is you work in IT, live in India, and like airplanes.

Generally speaking the experts in any form of warfare have had some experience in that particular field (i.e. air warfare experts are usually pilots or have spent ample time in the aviation community)...

That said you may want to look into what's available in the academic community. I can't speak for how things work in India, but there are several defense/security/military experts in the university systems and in thinktanks here in the United States. Not all of them are former warriors.

Just a cursory glace at a few google sites have popped up that you are eligible for the Territorial Army (TA). But I'm guessing you knew that...hmmm...don't have much else for ya. Good luck!

If you want to be an analyst with no experience, then you may want to pursue a PhD. Most folks in the analyst business have a doctorate.

Are you a U.S. citizen? If so, then you may try to get a job at a major command (combatant commands, number fleet, or major exercise base i.e. JRTC, Fallon, Nellis). The exercises they run need Master Scenario Events Lists (MSELs) writers for exercises. These are the injects that occur during an exercise to give a feeling of realism. Some commands have full-time MSEL writers and that may be an opportunity to do what you stated as your 'likes'.

I am an Indian citizen. There are few magazines who publishes analytical report and news related to the military aviation. How can I join them as a Beginner?

How the fuck would we know that? Why not contact them and ask what qualification they seek.

What HAL is trying to say is:

This website is dominated by American military aviators. A few internationals post from time to time, but for the most part the advice / knowledge here is centered around American aviation, and particularly American Naval aviation. We aren't going to be able to offer a whole lot of advice for someone seeking information about another country's military aviation programs.
