One guy had a last name that sounded close to Hulka; as in SGT Hulka from "Stripes", his name was "Big Toe"

The GPS antennae was often referred to as the Black Stallion.

My buddy who is an instructor at Air Force TPS has the callsign 'Zipper'. This was after going on a trip to europe (Sweden I believe). Anyways, he is at the O-club drinking a few beers on a Friday after a long week. He has the habit of letting his zipper slide down as the hours go by... well a Major there took serious offense to it. He decides to sternly 'instruct' my buddy about the importance of a proper military appearance. I suppose both had enough liquor in them because it effectively turns into a scuffle which required them to be pulled apart.

Oh and one of the other guys at Edwards AFB had the name 'Skids' after I guess in UPT he managed to put the plane down/wheels up.

My roomate on the TR was a F-14 RIO c/s Skids. His former squadron mates told me he was awarded the c/s by the Sailors in the laundry......

He told me he liked it better than his old one - Pillsbury. (He was rather large.)

Let's not forget FRIBAT. USAF dude on loan to VAQ who clipped a tower with his A-10 on a low level. Flew Right Into Big A$$ Tower.

Combating TIP training AGAIN?!
I knew FRIBAT, he chaired one of my boards. One of the JOs told me that it was Flew Right In Between Air Tower...but that doesn't make much sense.

Nope, he hit it and totalled his A-10.

We've got a guy in our squadron that lost his entire finger egressing from a jet (wedding ring hung on the canopy rail). Callsign "Shocker".

I don't even know where my ring is, for that reason. Its hidden away in some jewlery box of Shelly's somewhere....
