California Fires

Don't know which Phrog units are taking part. Saw this picture on the Miramar home page.

Edit: Birds from HMH-465, HMM-268 and HMMT-164 http://www.miramar.usmc.mil/WebPages/PAO/Thisweeksfj.pdf

The guys out there on the lines deserve just as much respect as any other American hero. Its not just crews from CA, but also Nevada, Arizona, colorado, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, and Utah. Some of teh guys have been away from home for months. 20 hour days, sleeping in the dirt, and no showers or restrooms for weeks at a time. Sounds like patrol in the gulf. They may not be fighting an international enemy, but they are fighting to protect the people and property of those of us in California. Again they deserve the utmost respect.

'If hooking up an Iraqi prisoner's balls to a car's battery cables will save one Texas GI's life, then I have just three things to say; Red is positive, Black is negative, and make sure his balls are wet.' - T. B. Bechtel, Midland, TX Councilman

I think I just teared up a little:scared_12
