C-12 detatchment sites? FLEET, not VT

Anybody got any info on all the possible C-12 det sites for a shore tour? I'm coming up on 11 months out for PRD and I wouldn't mind doing something a little off the wall (vice VTs or the FRS). I need ammo for negotiations with my XO. A former detailer was telling me about some bizarre areas (Egypt, Pakistan, etc). Anyone have any gouge? websites? stories?

I don't have anything concrete, but I believe there's a couple in Bahrain. There's a guy who just left here who is going to Europe (I think it's Spain, but I can't remember) where the C-12s are based. Sorry I don't have anything else.

Key West, Sigonella, Kadena area few that come to mind. A former PPC I knew went to Sig and is having a blast. Or you can always take that hard fill for the rest of us, lets say TSC Kef or Diego?

I know I saw a list of sites once, I think while surfing through NS Norfolk's site where the C-12 RAG is located. I remember seeing sites for RAF Mildenhall, Sigonella, DC and a bunch of others. Sorry I don't have the link for you, but it is out there somewhere.

Trust me, as far as hard fills go, I think most people leaving around my time are clear. There seems to be enough people around either willing to take the hit for personal reasons or have managed to piss off the front office enough to cover those slots.

Then again, one of my best friends was one of our top PPCs/MCs/IPs and he took a huge bone, they sent him to staff far far far away. "We need to send one of our top guys" was the reason.

My boy is actually interviewing for that soon, so anyone 10-12 months out should be safe, I figure the decision will have to be made by then. Rumor has it that if you get picked for the interview, you should just admit you don't really want to do it. Who wants some guy working for him who doesn't want to be there?

And after re-reading your post, I realized what you meant. No, my PPC bud is in Italy with whatever staff is out there. Sucks, he actually called my DSN from Bahrain about a month ago. That's how bored he is.

By the way, great website. It's totally kept me occupied while bored off my ass on leave in the armpit of middle america.
