All right, ever since high school I've wanted them but couldn't afford them, now that I'm finally in a position to get them, I can't (gotta have em on for 18mos, but leave for OCS next june at the latest) I know you cannot have them while at OCS, but does anyone know if you can have them while on flight duty? I searched NAMI/NOMI up and down but couldn't locate any info. If anyone knows please help me out, if I can't get them for the next 8-10 years that's really gonna suck but 'hey' small price to pay I guess!

About a third of the way down the page it says:

DENTAL
Must be Type I or II exam. Do on each exam.

Applicants for aviation service must meet general enlistment and commissioning standards. (see MANMED 15-65). Must have no defect which would react adversely to changes in barometric pressure. Orthodontic appliances are not acceptable unless they are non-removable ( fixed in place.)

...

I don't know if they consider braces non-removable but I have not seen any NAs or SNAs with traditional braces. I have seen some with those Invisalign things. My personal opinion is that they would pose a considerable risk of increased bodily harm should you ever bail out/crash/be captured by enemies (i.e., used as a torture device) so my guess is that they are not allowed.
