Will there be a sea bag inspection upon arrival at boost? And if not are there some things on the uniform list that I could definitely do without?

There was not a seabag inspection when I got here. As far as uniforms items you can do without, that topic has been visited several times on this forum before, but basically its safest to bring a full seabag. There are a few things you may not need, but I got here in whites and (obviously) switched to blues and have worn every uniform at some point (except coveralls). I think the only thing not worn at least once was the peacoat, as I recall. Some things, like dress whites, you may not need, but if you do even once, they'll make you buy more so its safest to bring them. If you look around the forum a little more you're likely to find more info.

This question is along the same lines...should the ball cap that I bring be the Navy ball cap or will my prior command suffice?
