Clarify the context here. In the criminal justice system non-US citizens are afforded the same civil rights as citizens. Happens thousands of times a day.
If our task force arrests someone in Asia as part of a multi-lateral joint task force.

Oh OK, non-attorney spokesperson for the "Big Navy is out to get everyone" club. Let's just call the whole thing off based on your expert analysis. FFS.

Some of the pontificating in this thread is, ridiculous, frankly. You're making judgments on the strength/validity of the case based on a charging document. None of you have any idea what evidence the government has against the perp.
Why such blind faith in the Navy and their process?

They have proven in the Iowa case and recently in the Gallagher case that they have and will botch investigations to get to their end game

Wrong, and wrong. You've already proven that you're not an honest broker in these matters.

I like how all you guys have blind faith in the Navy and it’s process.

Truly mind blowing.
What’s mind blowing is your utter lack of self awareness following the exact same pattern on virtually any topic. You just reframed it with a straw man, now you’ll shift to the next grievance like you always do. The constant theme is you utterly embarrassing yourself and getting crushed and mocked by others.

How so?

I simply pointed out that the Navy has a history of going on witch hunts and assigning blame in high publicized events similar to the BHR Fire.

Dunno if it will play out that way but past behavior of the Navy tells me it may.

Joint task force meaning US law enforcement is one element in a force of others operating in a foreign country, presumably to aid and liaison with host country law enforcement. And they were arrested for breaking US laws to be extradited to the US, or they were arrested for breaking a host country's laws. Nothing like we are talking about, nor what you implied. One DEA agent accompanying a number of federales to arrest a narco does not confer any sort of US civil rights protections to the suspect. No shit.

Naturally, since they don't blindly put their faith in you and your process. It's entirely within the realm of the possible that this is the start of another botched/fixed investigation. But you're full of shit.
