See how much of a workout your beloved "fighter pilots" are getting in this war? The F-15Cs and Raptors sit idly by while the Attack jets and multi-role guys fight the fight.

Still here? :sleep_125 I recall first hand that Phantoms had one hell of a lot more 500 lb GP's loaded then they did Sidewinders or Sparrows, in fact it was the F8 that was the last "true" Gunfighter of that era.

OK A4sFOREVER I do not mean anything by what I said, my squadron was the senior squadron, and there was a lot of ribbing between the squadrons, our motto was "It's hard to be humble". I worked on both F-4,s and F-14,s for six years. I don't mean any thing, just trying to have some fun and see what kind of reaction I get. So I will close just for you and return your last line to me back to you. Smile it doesn,t hurt really.

Here are some questions, mostly rhetorical.

Who is grumpier?.......well, A4's of course.
Whose heart medication is compatible with Viagra? (trick question)
Who loves seeing old men duke it out with old man strength?:D
Bottom line: Shut the Fuck Up. Any questions??

See the humor in that ... ???
:D:D:D

"Fighter guys make movies. Attack guys make history."
Don't forget that heavy guys make coffee:D

The Senior squadron? In my short 8 years in Naval Aviation, I have not seen a senior squadron. "It's hard to be humble"...nice. I had a Skipper that gave some sage advice once, "Don't tell everyone how good you are, let them tell you how good you are by winning all of the awards." And as for trying to have some fun to get a reaction, you pretty much made yourself look like a clown with your first couple of posts. Your new callsign is thus "Bozo", welcome back to Naval Aviation.

Sorry to stray from the poo flinging, but as to the guy who said LUU-19 is obsolete, your helo brothers disagree. Granted my experience is with illum rockets from an Apache, but the concept is the same. On a dark as an owl's ass night, an IR illum source that wasn't my own search light made my job much, much easier in Afghanistan.
