Not just P-8s; L-3, Raytheon, Sikorsky, Lockheed, Northrop are all defense contractors that may have used counterfeit parts made in China. One of the articles I read yesterday tracked a Seahawk FLIR part that started in china, went to Britain, then to MA, TX, CA, TX, MA, GA and ended up in MA where it was installed a Raytheon plant. One tiny electronic part!
Easy to see how you could get fooled with a supply chain like that.
