BOEING: Back to Basics -- Back to what works ???

I don't know...I ran into a group of slammin' foreign flight attendants at a hotel in Houston. One of them was a definite 9, if not a dime piece.

I should have laid game and done some work in the name of Naval Aviation but I bitched out. -1

Gives new meaning to the slogan:

Bring Back The Whale

"Breakfasts come and go, Renee, but Hartford, "The Whale," they only beat Vancouver once, maybe twice in a lifetime."

Prop, do I need to tell you the story of The Hurricane? (Don't worry, Carolina will always be The Whale to me, too...)

Anyway, "If it ain't Boeing, I ain't going!"

And one wonders why people hate flying commercial, Boeing or otherwise. I truly hate flying commercial and it seems confirmed that they truly hate flying me.
I actually got the same comment from a NWA attendant on a translant flight once, and this attitude is evidently rampant in the industry. BA are still hanging on to a sliver of their famed customer service but other carriers have just given up. I did get to board a BA 747 from the front once. Very posh indeed. Did not get to see the hump tho.

I can't for the life of me figure out why the airline industry doesn't even TRY to better their customers service...it's like they've given up. Or we could all get tanked, fly Southwest in the facing party seats and actually enjoy the flight.

Are you dense ??? I'm gonna' have to go w/ 'YES' ... soooooooooooo .... -1 for your promiscuous denseness and for the only negative comment on a basically interesting, semi-positive thread @ Boeing ... there's always one downer in the group, isn't there ???
(we don't care about steerage class)
That was a tongue-in-cheek comment ... as in ... a fucking 'joke'??? Or perhaps, you are just humorless ??? :sleep_125

I took care of each & every one of my pax -- and I protected 'em, to the best of my abilities -- and delivered each & every one safely to their destinations in style ... that's as in all 30 years and all 100's of thousands of 'em ... and so did the rest of my crews, nearly without exception. There's always a bad apple in the barrel that might not perform up to standard (like everywhere else in this world) -- but your crushingly ignorant broad-brush comments are an insult to the hard work that 99% of airline crews do 365 days a year/24 hours a day ...

Get a grip -- or STFU when considering things about which you are clinically dense.

It is one of the ugliest castles I've ever seen.

It is a bastion of virtue, discipline and, at least when I was there, manliness. Though for some strange reason it always looked better in the rear view mirror.......

You're right. I should have Photoshopped P-T Barracks out of the picture.

Blasphemer!!!! You are just jealous you were never a resident, slacker.

Quite simply, Boeing's train jumped the track when they left Seattle.
Well ... I'm with you in some regard, but I'm not sure whether that event is a case of which came first: the chicken or the egg ... ???

Boeing corporate left SEA after getting all they could from the state of Confusion (also known as the state of Washington) and I think that several of their other bad decisions that seem to now be systemic floated to the surface at around the same time.

I think -- discounting the obvious $$$$ pressure on Boeing over the past few decades from Airbu$ w/ their gov't $pon$ored puppet master$ -- that ever since the MD buy-out/merger, Boeing has allowed the former MD company-killers too much 'say' in the management suite -- and thus their troubles have magnified as their poor business & design decisions multiplied.

Coincidence?? Or possibly, simple math, yea-as ??? :)
