Best Ice Cream On The Planet

If you are ever in central Pa. you've got to stop in the creamery at Penn State and have some of their ice cream. I swore off sugar months ago but made a rare exception for Peachy Paterno today on my travels through State College and if JoPa coaches this year as well as Penn State makes its ice cream my beloved Irish are going to have their hands full on Sept. 9.
My life revolves around good flying, good eating, good running and good whiskey; and ice cream don't get no better than this.
Now back to less important topics.

Get up towards State College to fish Penn's, Big Fishing and Spring a couple times a year with a friend who's an old Marine Aviator (Naval Air Content ) and has been an Econ professor at PSU for the last 30 years. I'll check out the place

The resaurant thread is marginally relevant because it was kept to places where we have bases and train. This one should go away. ZABs drunk ramblings is the only thing keeping me from deleting this thread...For now.

On second thought...This place has been nominated, seconded and by voice vote deemed to be the best. case closed. no need for further discussion...

Sitting here with a mild headache...I standby this post being ok. I know plenty of people who have flown into the local airport at State College for everything from gameday flyovers to recruiting events. This qualifies as "good eats on the road" gouge.

I had a thread deleted by a mod on war zone when it says RIGHT IN ITS DESCRIPTION that it is UN-MODERATED! I think people and mods need to stop being such thread-nazis....

I standby my assertion that this thread has no place. The restaurant thread was localized to places like Pensacola and Meridian. It had a direct link to those moving there or living there for "MWR". This thread? Useless.
